What fun! Twill will be showing the beautiful paintings of Marcia Vander Schaaf this Saturday and Sunday as part of the 9th Annual S.E. Arts Walk. The Art Walk features over 40 stops throughout S.E. We decided to do a wear it now, wear it later post with some of our great new merchandise. (Don't laugh no one would model for me.)

This dress is worn with the magenta Coobie bra for Summer and a cotton cardigan from Press for Fall. Note, I always have a cotton cardigan from Press in my purse no matter what season it is.

Dream Vacations

The lingering June rain has me thinking of sunnier destinations as I unpack this weeks new shipments.

For Hawaii... 

This  would be the perfect outfit for hiking through the jungle. XCVI cotton  poplin bermuda shorts with yoga band top and SheShe t-shirt. 

This fun dress should be acessorized by a pina colada.  

    For Cape Cod...  

I  would wear a teez-her brand tank top (compression panels hide lumps  & bumps, like a jogging bra for your stomach)  with this breezy  skirt. 

I  could wear this XCVI cotton poplin tulip skirt to the beach. The  picture does not do this skirt justice, it has a sporty look and a  womanly shape.

I spent a my whole rainy Sunday shift steaming raw silk dresses, ironically we got said dresses for the store because we thought they would be the perfect thing for sunny Summer weddings. Now I can't stop thinking of my brother's Summer wedding in New Mexico three years ago, we waited 45 minutes for the rain to let up and finally the bride walked down the aisle with an umbrella and their vows were exchanged in the drizzle. Sometimes the show must go on, even if its is not we expected, kind of like marriage, kind of like life.
